We’re living in a climate of political distrust. At the same time, activists from different struggles and countries around Europe organize solidarity in their cities and communities to build new societies of equality and justice for, by, and with the people.
In collaboration with ESC Atelier Autogestito, the transnational project Trust Without Borders by European Alternatives come to Rome in the frame of Short Theatre 2022. Trust Without Borders will carry out the workshop entitled How to Organize Trust & Solidarity in Activist Struggles Without Borders.
The final moment of the workshop will be public and open in the context of Anticipation of the Night. In the Public Forum of Solidarity – The Struggle Continues Together we will discuss how the different struggles against the climate crisis and new fascism, social and economic inequality as well as gender and racial violence can be connected beyond the borders of identities and states. The forum will be from 5 pm to 7 pm, at Pelanda of Mattatoio di Roma. A public talk for all workshop participants and other activists, artists and academics from Rome to share together experiences and strategies for rebuilding political trust and solidarity, and overcoming our shared powerlessness.
