Opacity#2, is a relational performance that brings together theoretical practice and assembly formats. The work is aimed is to activate a public discussion starting from a shared analysis of some representations related to the representations of the bodies in the “western” culture. The definitions of body and “otherness”, according to a modernist cultural approach, have marked – until yesterday – the border of the exoticism, to be renewed – today – on the basis of a neurotic search for “transparency” every time that we evocate the concept of identity. Opacity# 2 is therefore conceived as a public work room, in which starting from a common discussion, the recent artistic research of the Chiasma group becomes visible in the frame of the larger project L’esemplare capovolto\Excelsior.
