In Bello mondo Mariangela Gualtieri sews verses mainly from Le giovani parole of Einaudi, released in September, but also inserts previous poems, in order to compose a rhythmic score passing from the allegretto to the grave, from the adagio until the big final wide, with her long and heartfelt thanks to the beautiful world, indeed, with its still perceptible wonder.
The nature with its archaic powers are in the foreground.
A particularly busy section is dedicated to the mother, in an exchange in which the roles are reversed and fade, in a consternation in the face the unexplainable unlearning the world, the discoloration of the characteristics of fierce and sweet old age, to his teaching.
In this new sound rite Mariangela Gualtieri continues her journey within the energy oral/aural poetry, in the certainty that it is an ancient and present way to the understanding and compassion of the world.
BIOGRAPHY
Mariangela Gualtieri (Cesena, 1951), poet and playwright, begins her writing career in the Valdoca Theatre Company, which she founded together with the director Cesare Ronconi. She participates in every staging by Ronconi, ready to sense and give voice to the scene’s whirl of forces.
Since the beginnings she takes particular care of the oral dimension of poetry – through readings in verses both in Italy and abroad – focusing on the voice amplification system and on the interaction between poetic verse and live music. Her pedagogical activity runs uninterrupted through her workshops devoted to writing and, more recently, reading verses into a microphone.
