CLASSE is a project of transmission, compromise, blending and mixing, invented pedagogies and radical imagination. Its does not aim at educating, but rather it tends towards shapelessness, fostering the rewilding of postures and thoughts, the destabilisation of knowledge and its disciplinary structure. CLASSE is a space for words and thoughts stirred up in the turmoil of performing bodies.

CLASSE is a project by AREA06 that combines a public programme with the creation of an ongoing working group, moving through the Short Theatre 2026’s programme and beyond.

Every day for 10 days, artists, poets, activists, philosophers and researchers are invited to give a short talk starting from a specific word / issue / practice. CLASSE intensifies the relationship between theories and bodies with the urge to change their arrangement and rethink the ways of sharing knowledge. It takes time to process.
