«Short Theatre 2025 is a festival that focuses on atmospheres, relationships, discourses and immaterial rituals, fostering the metamorphosis of a singular place into intersecting and overlapping habitats. Places of attraction for the collective mind, spaces for what is not yet nameable, and for the unforeseen that emerges when coming into contact with the public.
To look at Short Theatre as a space of desire, rather than a product of circumstance. To attempt a pervasive freedom and lightness, not merely responding to pre-existing demands or articulated positions, but opening up forms of the possible by unsettling, reassembling, laying bare, rewilding the sedimented stories of these past twenty years and the trajectories to come. What can a festival set in motion? How can we scramble our own agendas? Can a body in a shared space generate turbulence?»
